Fourth Day Insights
11:30 am to 2:00pm
Come and learn about the Walk to Emmaus (why e do what we do!)
Informal session open to all, especially new pilgrims, potential
sponsors and for anyone wishing to serve on a future team. Bring
a bag lunch. Beverages provided. Register with Marcia Miner by
calling 401-789-5101 by May 2, 2008.
Team Evaluation:
2:00 to 3:00pm (for Team of Walk #63)
Worship and
Gathering: 3:00 to 5:00pm
The Emmaus Community and their guests are invited for a time of
prayer, worship, music and fellowship. Recharge your spiritual
batteries and meet old and new friends. Bring a favorite treat
to share. Beverages provided.
Directions to
Bridgewater UMC: Take Route 24 to Exit 15 (Route 104) -- From
North turn left/from South turn Right. Continue approximately
2.5 miles. At the Stop sign turn Left. Follow Route 104 to the
common. As you enter the common - go straight across (the common
acts like a rotary- do not go around rotary) to School St. The
church is one block down on the right.

There will be activities for all ages including swimming,
canoeing, singing, and games! Bring something to grill for your
family and a salad or desert to share. Grills, beverages and
paper goods will be provided. The cost is $5.00 per
person/$10.00 per family. Guests are welcome! Cathedral Camp is
located on beautiful Long Pond at the site of the Men's Walk.

Canonicus Camp and Conference Center in Exeter, RI next summer.

Scholarship Fund
With the cost of weekends going up, the need for scholarships is
much greater. The SNE Emmaus community assists many who may not
be able to attend a walk due to financial constraints. Your
donations to the scholarship fund and the general support of the
community are wonderful ways to help. Please consider making a
